Stock Gifts
A gift of securities may provide benefits to you as a donor, including a charitable income tax deduction of the fair market value of the gifted securities as of the date of the gift, and the elimination of a capital gains tax.  Contact Managing Director Kelly Reed at kreed@communitymusicworks.org to make your gift of stock to CMW.

Matching Gifts
Double your impact with a matching gift! Many businesses offer a matching gifts program to its employees. Ask your company if it offers this program to help support cultural organizations.

Memorial and Honorary Gifts
A thoughtful way to honor or remember a person or loved one is to make a gift in his/her name. Your gift will be acknowledged by CMW, and a note sent to the honoree or family members of the person being remembered, so they know a gift was made.

In-Kind Donations
CMW accepts the donation of instruments, bows, music stands, cases, and office equipment.

Concert Sponsorship
Sponsoring a concert is a terrific way for your company to be recognized and to reach hundreds of CMW’s diverse audience members while demonstrating support for the arts. Opportunities for support are available at various levels.

Endowment Gifts
Make a gift to Community MusicWorks’ endowment and create a lasting impact on the life of this organization. Carefully managed by our friends at The Rhode Island Foundation, CMW’s endowment operates as a permanent savings and investment account, providing a reliable source of income each year.

Planned Gifts
With a future charitable gift to Community MusicWorks through your will or other estate plans, you can make a profound impact on the community of CMW’s students and teachers. In addition, planned gift donors become esteemed founding members of the CMW Legacy Society.

If you have questions about your philanthropy, please contact Hilary Jansen, Director of Philanthropic Engagement at hjansen@communitymusicworks.org.
