Community MusicWorks’ popular Sonata Series presents intimate chamber music amidst the splendor of the RISD Museum’s Grand Gallery. February’s installment features CMW musicians Jesse Holstein and Luke Fatora, who will join guest pianist Jeff Louie for sonatas by Amy Beach and Ludwig van Beethoven – a study in contrasts, from opposite ends of the 19th-century.
The program features Beethoven’s Sonata for Piano and Violin, No. 3 and Amy Beach’s Violin Sonata, Op. 34.
