MusicWorks Collective and Guests: Songs of Refuge

Join us for a concert celebrating the ongoing collaboration between the MusicWorks Collective and musicians from the local refugee community. Songs of Refuge is a project with a focus on music making as a place of homecoming and belonging for musicians who have been transplanted from their home countries and offers a gesture of welcome as people are celebrated as musicians. The program also features a new arrangement of Syrian folk songs for string quartet by composer and friend of CMW Kareem Roustom.
