SUMMARY:Season 29 Opening Concert
DESCRIPTION:**We have reached capacity for seating in the Performance Hall\, but you are encouraged to come on down to the CMW Center and enjoy the concert in the cafe\, where we’ll be live-streaming the concert video.** \nSeason 29 begins on Sunday\, September 7 with a festive late-summer open house and concert\, featuring the rich lyricism of Dvořák’s Piano Quintet\, the dynamic Concerto for String Orchestra by Portuguese composer Joly Braga Santos\, and quartets by Hawa Diabaté and Merlijn Twaalfhoven from the Kronos Quartet’s Fifty for the Future commissioning project. \n\n12 pm: Building tours and light\, casual eats\, including empanadas and strawberries with chocolate and cream by the fabulous Fragolas\n1 pm: MusicWorks Collective in Concert (also fabulous)\n2:30 pm: More building tours and refreshments\, with music by DJ Josh Rodriguez\n\nJoin us! \nMusicWorks Collective Season Opening Concert\nSunday\, September 7 at 1 pm\nThe CMW Center\n1326 Westminster Street
