DESCRIPTION:In the final Sonata Series Event of our season\, we explore music inspired by folk song and dance traditions from Spain and Argentina. Violist Chloë Kline takes us into the world of Andalusian Flamenco with the evocative Asturias composed by Isaac Albéniz. Chloë and guest pianist Jeff Louie will also share Manuel de Falla’s beloved Siete Canciones Populares Españolas (Seven Spanish Folksongs). To round out the program\, violinist Minna Choi and Jeff Louie will play the lively and soulful L’histoire du Tango (History of Tango) by Astor Piazzolla.
