20th Season Celebration

PLEASE NOTE 1 PM EARLY START TIME to avoid rain clouds!

We’re animating the Cranston Street Armory! On Sunday, June 4, Community MusicWorks is proud to participate in the Cranston Street Armory Animated by Art program with a performance in Dexter Park. This event marks the final day of PVDFest, a 4-day arts and music festival of live music, dance, food, and visual art installations transforming public spaces, parks, and outdoor stages in the heart of Providence.

Join us in celebrating the close of our 20th season with a special reunion concert featuring CMW students, alumni, and the MusicWorks Collective. We’ll also welcome back composer Gonzalo Grau and his nine-piece salsa band along with renowned violinist Johnny Gandelsman for a reprise of the magnificent Fantasía de Guayaba Habanera. Bring your dancing shoes for a closing set of salsa music and make this season finale an event to remember!
