MusicWorks Collective in Concert: Time’s Echo with Jeremy Eichler

Join us on January 25 & 26 for a two-concert series featuring a presentation by writer and historian Jeremy Eichler followed by a performance by the MusicWorks Collective.

Community MusicWorks is thrilled to welcome scholar, writer, and musician Jeremy Eichler, whose recent award-winning book Time’s Echo makes an eloquent case for the role of music as memory-bearer for culture. The event includes a presentation by Jeremy followed by a performance by the MusicWorks Collective. 

Each concert features a separate topic and program: Join us for one or both!

This event is free, with an option to support CMW with Choose-What-You-Pay suggested ticket prices:
$30 admission (single concert)
$45 admission (both concerts)
$10 child (12 and under)

Saturday evening’s program will include a presentation by Jeremy followed by a MusicWorks Collective performance of Richard Strauss’s late masterpiece Metamorphosen.

Sunday afternoon’s program will include a presentation by Jeremy followed by a MusicWorks Collective performance of Benjamin Britten’s “Chacony” from the String Quartet No. 2 and Dmitri Shostakovich’s Piano Trio No. 2.
