Join us on Saturday, October 26 at John Carter Brown Library for an afternoon of baroque music performed by the MusicWorks Collective and guests. The program offers a glimpse into the world of 17th century weddings, parties, and battles with Bach’s “Wedding Cantata” (BWV 202), featuring the brilliant soprano Kristen Watson, the rousing “Battalia” by Heinrich Biber, a harpsichord concerto by Bach contemporary Wilhelmina of Prussia featuring harpsichordist Michael Bahmann, and the ever-popular Brandenburg Concerto no. 3.
